BPBF H.E.A.R. Scholarship - Fall Application
Underrepresented artists have a long and rich history in the arts. The BPBF H.E.A.R. (Helping support Equitable Access and Representation) Scholarship promotes equitable access and representation to music education and enrichment activities for groups including but not limited to Black/African American, Latinx, Native North American, Asian/Pacific Islander, and LGBTQIA+ students. Through this scholarship, we hope to open opportunities for these students looking to enrich their musical studies.

The BPBF H.E.A.R. Fall Scholarship application window for the 2025-26 school year has closed.
Scholarship Information
A $300 scholarship awarded to one or more band student(s) in grades 7, 8, 9, 10, or 11 who:
- are current members of the Sun Prairie Band program, and
- participated in school and/or community clubs & organizations
- Note: students are eligible to be awarded with the BPBF H.E.A.R Scholarship no more than once per school year.
- Subsidy payment to assist with private lessons in the lesson academy program
- Payment for band camp or activity that is recommended by your Band Director
- Collect two letters of recommendation (as electronic pdf files), one from a band director and another from an adult who is not related to you
- During the application window, please complete and submit the online scholarship application and attach the pdf file by the deadline.
- Award(s) for the BPBF H.E.A.R. Scholarship - Fall Application will be presented during the winter band concerts.
