The Marcia Berman Percussion Scholarship - Winter Application is open Monday, January 5 through Friday, March 6, 2026.

Scholarship Information

A $300 scholarship awarded to one or more student(s) in grades 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, or 12 who:
  • is a current Sun Prairie Bands percussion student who has also participated in school and/or community clubs and organizations
Scholarships are disbursed as:
  • Payment for private percussion lessons during the current school year 
  • Payment for percussion summer camps
  • Note: Students are eligible to be awarded with the Marcia Berman Percussion Scholarship no more than once per school year.
How to apply:
  • Collect one letter of recommendation (as an electronic pdf file), which needs to be written by a current teacher in the Sun Prairie School District
  • Please complete and submit the online scholarship application and attach the pdf file by the deadline.
If you are chosen:
  • Award(s) for the Marcia Berman Percussion Scholarship - Winter Application will be presented at Band-O-Rama.
